About the position

The Program Implementation Consultant is responsible for managing the implementation and conversion of various projects, ensuring that they are executed within the defined scope, budget, and timeline. This role involves developing solution specifications, managing resources, and maintaining strong client relationships throughout the implementation process. The consultant will lead a team, monitor project progress, and ensure quality outcomes while collaborating with both internal and client teams.

Responsibilities

  • Manage implementations and conversions of varying size and complexity.
  • Define problems and scope parameters for full implementation or assigned components.
  • Develop solution specifications and implementation plans, including budget and timetable.
  • Identify structures of authority and processes for decision making within the implementation.
  • Manage the execution of the implementation plan and post-implementation evaluation of outcomes.
  • Monitor workstream status for assigned clients and communicate with internal and client teams.
  • Conduct status meetings and prepare status reports.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for assigned clients to answer questions and assist with issue resolution.
  • Create, modify, and provide governance over the plan, scope, schedule, and cost for implementations.
  • Ensure documentation and approval of product/project scope and requirements for implementations.
  • Track and conduct issue resolution for project implementations using metrics to measure progress.
  • Assist with timely and accurate internal and external communication of project status, including risk assessments.
  • Review client deliverables for accuracy, pricing, and timeliness, and manage project budgets.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, IT, or related field.
  • Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in project management.
  • Experience in managing implementations in the credit card industry.
