About the position

The Program Integration/Quality Assurance Manager at Riverside Research is responsible for leading project management duties involving cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of internal products and administrative systems. This role oversees project schedules, budgets, and performance milestones, while also providing quality assurance support for specialized mission systems. The manager will interface with internal customers, organize project activities, and ensure effective communication to meet project objectives within budget constraints.

Responsibilities

  • Provide management, engineering, and logistics support services to program managers and project engineers during design, integration, testing, and maintenance.
  • Review, analyze, and evaluate developmental sustainment issues related to C2/information technology systems.
  • Monitor contract cost, schedule, and performance milestones during contract life.
  • Develop and present briefings to senior customer and government personnel.
  • Participate in transforming user mission requirements into technical specifications and contractor statements of work.
  • Support technical evaluation of contractor work proposals to Air Force and government contracting officers.
  • Manage emergency orders/quick reaction contracts for urgent end user requirements.
  • Provide quality assurance support to Big Safari Programs.
  • Collect and analyze aircraft Quality Performance Indicators to improve reliability and maintainability.
  • Monitor and review support contracts for current operational information and identify limitations affecting mission systems.
  • Perform equipment inspections and aircraft special mission systems installation inspections for compliance with specifications.
  • Review and perform validation testing of aircraft and mission systems technical publications and user manuals.
  • Verify and perform testing on developmental hardware/software to ensure performance specifications are met.
  • Monitor all required ground/flight testing of specialized mission system equipment.
  • Participate as a crewmember on calibration, modification, quality acceptance, and customer demonstration flights.
  • Support Quick Reaction Capabilities (QRC) system installation on assigned aircraft.
  • Travel to forward operating locations for equipment installation and customer support as required.
  • Develop, verify, and approve maintenance bulletins to enhance operational capability or resolve issues.
  • Review daily mission status reports to detect deficiencies in system performance.

Requirements

  • A current TOP SECRET/SCI Security Clearance.
  • Minimum of 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree, 6 years with a Master's degree, or 3 years with a PhD.
  • At least 5 years of experience conducting Product/Quality Assurance for mission systems on BIG SAFARI programs.
  • Big Safari test oversight and program execution experience.
  • Proven record in complex problem solving, effective communication, decision-making, and program management.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
  • Proficiency in reading engineering drawings and schematic diagrams.
  • Background in troubleshooting/repair on RF systems, networked systems, and electrical circuits.
  • Current knowledge of USAF AFIs including flight regulations and maintenance orders.

  • Master's degree preferred.
