About the position

The Program Lead at Clarity Care Inc. is responsible for overseeing group home operations and providing direct care support to individuals with disabilities. This role emphasizes leadership, community involvement, and hands-on caregiving, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for residents. The position requires effective communication and collaboration with staff and HR to maintain adequate staffing and support for residents' needs.

Responsibilities

  • Provides direct care support to members with disabilities, assisting with activities of daily living such as bathing, grooming, and hygiene.
  • Leads group home meetings and communicates changes to staff and residents to ensure everyone is informed.
  • Collaborates with HR in hiring, retention, discipline, and termination processes to ensure qualified staffing.
  • Completes all applicable documentation related to assigned tasks.
  • Maintains a safe and sanitary group home through housekeeping duties and laundry.
  • Prepares and serves meals according to nutritional guidelines and individual dietary needs.
  • Assists and provides physical support to members during social and recreational activities.

Requirements

  • Prefer an Associate degree or higher in a health care related field; or a Bachelor's degree in a non-healthcare field with one year of experience in a healthcare setting working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Prior supervisory experience strongly preferred.
  • Must meet agency driving standards.
  • Must pass a periodic WI Caregiver Background Check including Department of Justice Criminal Record Checks.
