About the position

The Program Management Senior Advisor role is focused on overseeing project management for key client initiatives within the pharmacy benefits sector. This position involves analyzing discrepancies, resolving issues, and ensuring timely adjustments to pharmacy benefit claims while collaborating with internal partners and clients in a regulated market. The role is essential for delivering strategic projects by providing expertise, governance, and overall project management, while also solving complex problems and leading functional teams or projects.

Responsibilities

• Review adjustment data and assist with resolution of discrepancies
• Collaborate with client and internal partners to resolve issues related to adjustments, address and resolve disputes and inquiries
• Prepare and submit reporting on adjustment activities and outcomes, requests and decisions
• Engage all necessary ESI areas working cross-functionally to ensure effective project implementation
• Conduct presentations on project background, status, and current issues
• Proactively collaborate with other PMs when project deliverables overlap or dependencies exist
• Document, track, and manage project risks, mitigation strategies, and contingency plans
• Serve as a point of escalation for critical project issues requiring expertise and discretion
• Identify common issues, constraints, and risks across the project
• Effectively escalate project risks and areas requiring Senior Leadership intervention

Requirements

• High School Diploma required
• Bachelor's or Master's degree preferred
• 5 plus years Pharmacy Benefits Management/healthcare experience preferred
• Project management experience required
• Excellent organization skills with ability to multi-task and drive multiple priorities

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of Express Scripts proprietary systems, products, and processes
• Strong prior knowledge of project management or program management execution
• Strong technical understanding to determine value, prioritization, and critical problem-solving skills
• Advanced problem-solving skills with the ability to work cross-functionally
