About The Position

The Program Manager II will be a critical member of the JWN Operations Planning team, owning the processes that define consensus throughput and storage capacity values throughout the Supply Chain. This role will require extensive partnership with Industrial Engineering, SC Operations, Store Operations, Transportation, and Network Strategy. These consensus capacity values will be used to assess risk in both near and long-term plans and inform where mitigation efforts are required. This role will own program that oversees the setting of capacity values as well defining the operational playbook in advance of peak seasons. This role will have three primary focus areas: 1 - Setting Consensus Capacity, 2 - Coordinating Monthly Programs & Mitigation Efforts, and 3 - Ad Hoc Analysis. This role will require navigating complexity, attention to detail, and comfort in driving collective decision making. The ability to influence disparate stakeholders will be critical to success and ensuring that JWN optimally utilizes the available network capacity through Anniversary and Holiday peaks.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of program management, process improvement, or capacity planning experience in a Supply Chain setting
  • Field level experience in Warehouse operations, Industrial Engineering, or other capacity management
  • Proven track record of managing multiple priorities and coordinating various stakeholders to drive action
  • Proactive mindset with ability to create and manage workplans
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and comfort in engaging with business leaders
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills, with additional experience in Tableau, Power BI, and SQL preferred

  • Relevant experience in retail supply chains preferred

Responsibilities

  • Drive monthly process to align on consensus throughput and storage capacity values
  • Liaise with IE and Operations partners to refine capacity models
  • Guide Product & Tech teams on implementing systems to systematically serve capacity data
  • Define roadmap for capacity planning capability development
  • Oversee capacity mitigation efforts in the short to mid-term
  • Track dependencies and key milestones across internal and external teams
  • Take on ad-hoc analysis to resolve planning risks and drive executive decision making
