About the position

The Program Manager, Accelerator at Braven is responsible for leading the execution of the Leadership & Career Accelerator course, aimed at supporting college students, particularly those from underrepresented backgrounds, in their transition to successful careers. This role involves facilitating the course, managing student experiences, and collaborating with university partners to enhance student engagement and outcomes. The position requires a commitment to equity and inclusion, as well as strong project management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Fully manage the facilitation and execution of the Braven Accelerator course.
  • Internalize and facilitate all Braven Accelerator curriculum components and ensure weekly remote Learning Labs are logistically sound and high quality.
  • Facilitate weekly in-person or virtual programming sessions, each lasting 2 hours, typically held between 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. CST.
  • Support a team of Graders to measure student mastery and inform coach feedback.
  • Support the training and coaching of volunteer Leadership Coaches.
  • Ensure a high-quality experience for Fellows, partners, volunteers, and stakeholders through strong communication.
  • Collaborate with other Program Managers to ensure a seamless program experience for Fellows.
  • Support the recruitment, coaching, and development of Leadership Coaches and Coaching Partners.
  • Observe and provide feedback to Braven volunteers weekly.
  • Participate in individual annual and quarterly planning and recruit/manage teaching assistants and interns.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 1 year of experience in teaching or workforce development.

Nice-to-haves

  • 1-4 years of experience in teaching or program management.
  • Extreme comfort and experience with public speaking and facilitation.
  • Ability to analyze qualitative and quantitative data.
  • Strong customer service ethic and proactive communication skills.
  • Strong critical thinking, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and independently.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and G-Suite applications.
  • Experience in Salesforce, Canva, Asana, Zoom, Expensify.
  • Demonstrated commitment to equity and inclusion.
