About the position

The Program Manager (Acquisition/Merger) at Infotron is responsible for leading and managing complex projects related to the integration of newly acquired companies. This role involves collaborating with various teams to deliver technology solutions that support the newly merged company, ensuring that all project objectives are met on time and within budget. The Program Manager will also mentor other project managers and maintain effective communication with stakeholders at all levels.

Responsibilities

  • Work with Product Managers, Designers, and Engineers across multiple Merchandising Domains to deliver new data mapping technology.
  • Support rebannering newly acquired stores for the merged company.
  • Ensure accurate weekly and executive status updates with other Merchandising Pillar PgMs and IMO Leaders.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver technology with dependencies on other Kroger and Albertson's Tech Pillars.
  • Mentor and coach Project Managers within the program.
  • Establish and update project and program plans, managing deviations from plans and parameters.
  • Document and pursue all program and project requirements and objectives.
  • Deliver projects and programs within agreed time and cost tolerances.
  • Provide leadership and apply conflict resolution skills to resolve issues.
  • Manage program and project risks, developing mitigation plans as needed.
  • Create and track schedules, budgets, risks, and issues.
  • Maintain program-level communications with stakeholders at multiple levels.
  • Develop and drive goals, define technical specifications, and implementation plans for projects/programs.
  • Focus on the benefits to be realized and outcomes to be achieved.
  • Coordinate complex planning activities and optimize resource use.
  • Align program scope with strategic business objectives and recommend modifications to enhance effectiveness.

Requirements

  • Experience leading an acquisition, merger, or related program.
  • PMP certification.
  • 5 years of experience in a leadership position delivering large and/or complex projects and programs.
  • Proven track record of delivering objectives on time and within budget.
  • Ability to anticipate and manage project/program risks.
  • Strong engagement management skills and business acumen.
  • Deep technical insights with the ability to communicate in both business and technical terms.
  • Experience managing external customers and understanding deployment lifecycles.
  • Expertise in applying systems development and project management life-cycle processes for IT solutions.
  • Proven problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated ability in team motivation and delegation.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

  • Experience with data mapping and heavy data organization.
  • Experience in organizational change management.
