About the position

The Program Manager for Adult Basic Education is responsible for leading and supervising the development, promotion, implementation, and evaluation of various adult education programs. This includes adult basic skills, GED preparation, English as a Second Language (ESL), and Functional Workforce literacy. The role requires strong leadership and communication skills to effectively manage programs and engage with the community.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and supervision for Adult Basic Education programs.
• Develop, promote, and implement adult education programs.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of adult education programs.
• Manage budgets related to the programs.
• Make formal presentations to various stakeholders.
• Organize and direct program personnel.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Adult Education or a related field.
• Valid MN driver's license without restrictions.
• Three years of experience in adult education, program development, grant writing, or administration.

Nice-to-haves

• Valid MN teaching license.
• Bilingual skills.
