About the position

As an Air Defense Program Manager at Anduril Industries, you will be responsible for executing a major new development program focused on sensor, effector, and command and control system integration. This role requires a systems and engineering mindset, with accountability for program success in terms of cost, schedule, and performance. You will lead a cross-functional team to deliver capabilities that exceed customer expectations, while fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Own overall program execution, meeting cost, schedule, and performance targets.
  • Acquire an intimate understanding of program requirements and maintain open dialogue with the customer.
  • Develop and implement effective processes, tools, and metrics for program planning and execution.
  • Foster a Team of Teams culture among Anduril, external customers, and industry partners.
  • Build an outcome-oriented, high-performance culture within the program team.
  • Drive cross-functional alignment efforts across various Anduril teams.
  • Collaborate with senior management to situate your program within the strategic roadmap.
  • Analyze market trends and customer requirements to identify growth opportunities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or related technical field preferred.
  • Proven program management experience in defense, national security, or aerospace domains.
  • Experience leading a team to field integrated hardware-software products.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Must be able to obtain a Secret Clearance.
  • Must be able to travel up to 50% of the time.

Nice-to-haves

  • Advanced degree in a technical field.
  • Familiarity with U.S. Marine Corps operational air defense concepts.
  • Familiarity with DOD tactical operations and/or acquisitions efforts.
  • Familiarity with government acquisition and reporting processes.
