About the position

The Program Manager for AWS Industries (Auto & MFG) within the Worldwide Specialist Organization (WWSO) at Amazon Web Services (AWS) is responsible for developing and managing programs and initiatives that enhance business processes across the AWSI team. This role involves collaborating with various teams to drive revenue and adoption, executing go-to-market strategies, and ensuring operational excellence in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Define program strategies, develop roadmaps, organize work streams and milestones, and gain buy-in across functional and regional leaders.
• Execute organization-wide initiatives, including influencing and aligning stakeholders, defining project plans, assembling resources, managing implementation, and developing processes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define and deliver on agreed milestones, anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, and make trade-offs.
• Establish mechanisms to align with IBU on joint customer engagements, shared solutions, external events, and reporting visibility.
• Manage and create scalable programs that impact conference/event strategy, re:Invent strategy, and sales enablement.
• Collaborate with Sales Ops on resources, work back schedules, 2x2s, OP1/OP2, budget tracking, and approvals.

Requirements

• 5+ years of program or project management experience
• Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
• Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership.

Nice-to-haves

• 2+ years of driving process improvements experience
• Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field.
