About the position

The Program Manager for the Undiscovered Small Business Accelerator (USBA) at Amazon is responsible for driving the success of small and historically underrepresented business populations, particularly focusing on Black-owned businesses through the Black Business Accelerator (BBA). This role involves implementing process improvements, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring the effective execution of USBA benefits. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, collaborative, and capable of thinking creatively to enhance the experience of USBA participants.

Responsibilities

• Creates, optimizes and drives adoption of critical mechanisms required to scale USBA benefits
• Designs and leads the curation of learning guides that support the growth of Black businesses within BBA
• Works across teams to collect data that informs USBA benefits improvement process
• Oversees and manages the USBA benefit review process
• Manages vendor relationships to execute learning guides and BBA resources
• Tracks and reports program learnings and effectiveness to internal stakeholders
• Drives cross-functional alignment to achieve strategic program goals
• Looks around corners to spot emerging issues and proactively lead the development and execution of solutions as it relates to USBA benefits

Requirements

• 4+ years of program or project management experience
• 4+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
• Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
• Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
• Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams

Nice-to-haves

• 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience
• 4+ years of driving process improvements experience
• Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
• Experience building processes, project management, and schedules
