About the position

The Program Manager for the Cancer Service Line at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) is responsible for providing comprehensive support to faculty and advanced practice providers within the cancer service line. This role involves data collection, process management, reporting, and assisting with special projects to enhance the operational efficiency of the cancer administration team.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive support to Cancer Service Line Faculty and Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) throughout their onboarding and employment.
  • Manage data collection and reporting processes for the cancer service line.
  • Assist with special projects related to cancer service line administration.
  • Ensure effective communication and coordination among team members and stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree plus four (4) years of project/program management experience, OR Associate's degree plus six (6) years of experience, OR high school diploma plus eight (8) years of experience.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal abilities.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of Epic Cadence is essential.
  • Experience working in a high-volume medical clinic is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with Workday is a plus.
