About the position

The Program Manager for Change Management at AVANGRID Service Company plays a crucial role in leading the implementation of changes resulting from technical projects that introduce new hardware and software to Avangrid Networks. This position is pivotal in ensuring that the organization effectively adopts new technologies by utilizing the Prosci® Methodology for change management. The Program Manager will be responsible for conducting project change impact analyses and assessments, managing project communications, addressing resistance, and planning and leading training initiatives. The role also involves directing the implementation of change management plans to ensure that the benefits of new technology are fully realized. In this position, the Program Manager will develop project-specific change management strategies and lead the assessment of change impacts. They will provide leadership for all change management activities, ensuring that change management plans are effectively implemented. The Program Manager will also be responsible for providing training and support, as well as post Go-Live support, performance measurement, and reporting. This role requires the individual to act as the lead change management member, guiding day-to-day goals and decision-making processes. Additionally, the Program Manager will promote and facilitate the development and implementation of standard processes and procedures, collaborating with other members of the Quality Management team to identify and initiate process changes within Avangrid Networks through research, planning, and training activities.

Responsibilities

  • Develop project-specific change management strategy.
  • Lead project change impact assessment and develop project change management plans.
  • Provide leadership for all change management activities and the implementation of change management plans.
  • Perform training and provide training support.
  • Provide post Go-Live support and performance measurement and reporting.
  • Fill the role of lead change management member with respect to accomplishing day-to-day goals and provide direction and lead decision making.
  • Promote/Facilitate the development and implementation of standard processes and procedures.
  • Work with other members of the Quality Management team to identify and initiate process change in Avangrid Networks through research, planning, and change management and training activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and Prosci® Change Manager Practitioner Certificate.
  • A minimum of 2 years of leading change management in projects using the Prosci® methodology.
  • Experience in leading teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Project, SharePoint, Teams).
