Responsibilities

  • Develop and support innovative communication plans and strategies that engage audiences.
  • Manage and support integrated campaigns and events using various communication channels.
  • Ensure consistent use of Sutter Health's brand assets across all communications.
  • Provide analytical support to multifunctional teams to drive communication results.
  • Oversee contract communication professionals to align communications with strategic priorities.
  • Evaluate communications plans and collateral for effectiveness.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, English, Journalism, Marketing, Public Relations, or related field.
  • 5 years of recent relevant experience in healthcare communications.
  • Knowledge of strategic communications planning and corporate identity management.
  • Strong professional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Current knowledge of healthcare issues and trends in Northern California.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and time management skills.
  • Competency in Microsoft Office and graphic design software.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Lean or other process improvement methodologies.
  • Functional knowledge of hiring third-party talent for creative services.
  • Understanding of audience analysis and engagement strategies.
