The Program Manager - Consumer Experience at Elevance Health plays a crucial role in the development and ongoing management of multi-year external client-facing programs within a business unit. The Program Manager may oversee a segment of a larger enterprise or regional program, ensuring that all aspects of the program align with the company's objectives and client expectations. In this role, the Program Manager is responsible for managing and coordinating the development, approval, implementation, and compliance of ongoing external client-facing programs. This includes developing program budgets, ensuring that programs meet their stated objectives, and providing subject matter expertise to address day-to-day business issues that arise. The Program Manager will also be tasked with researching applicable subject matter practices and staying informed about industry trends to enhance program effectiveness. A significant aspect of this role involves managing relationships with external clients and collaborating with corporate and regional business areas. The Program Manager will coordinate training related to the external client-facing program, develop success measures, and perform periodic assessments to evaluate program success. Additionally, the position requires assistance in scheduling and planning in-person meetings, managing expense reports for senior leaders, and creating travel approval requests. The Program Manager will also be responsible for preparing materials for executive meetings and supporting organizational health and culture-building activities, such as newsletters and town hall meetings. Overall, the Program Manager - Consumer Experience is essential in ensuring that Elevance Health's external client-facing programs are executed effectively, meet client needs, and contribute to the overall success of the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Manages and coordinates the development, approval, implementation, and compliance of ongoing external client facing programs.
  • Develops program budget and ensures program meets its stated objectives.
  • Provides subject matter expertise in response to day-to-day external client facing business issues.
  • Researches applicable subject matter practices and remains aware of industry trends.
  • Manages external client facing relationships and partners with corporate and regional business areas.
  • Coordinates training related to external client facing program and develops program success measures.
  • Performs periodic assessments of program success.
  • Assists in scheduling/planning in-person meetings, including room reservation and catering.
  • Assists in scheduling meetings with senior level leaders.
  • Reviews, validates, and approves expense reports for the VP and VP's direct reports.
  • Provides travel booking assistance as necessary for leaders.
  • Creates and submits travel approval requests for VP and SLT approval.
  • Keeps track of the number of associates approved for travel each month.
  • Sends reminders to leaders regarding important deadlines and monitors team progress against completion.
  • Gathers and prepares materials for various VP's 1-1s with senior leaders.
  • Assists with staff meeting preparation, materials, and follow-ups.
  • Supports organizational health and culture building activities.

Requirements

  • Requires a BA/BS and a minimum of 5 years external client facing experience in program/project management.
  • Any combination of education and experience that provides an equivalent background is acceptable.

Nice-to-haves

  • Graduate degree preferred.
  • Project management certification preferred.
  • Proficient to Expert in PowerPoint highly preferred.
  • Management consulting and storytelling experience preferred.
