About the position

The Program Manager of Crime and Investigative Analyst at Texas Health Resources is responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive Crime & Investigative Analyst Program. This role involves creating standard procedures, enhancing program effectiveness, and collaborating with various departments to ensure the delivery of the program. The position requires a strategic approach to crime analysis, incident evaluation, and the management of investigations, all aimed at improving safety and operational efficiency within the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement an enterprise-wide Crime & Investigative Analyst Program.
  • Create standard procedures and consistent processes for the program.
  • Continuously enhance the Crime & Investigative Analyst Program.
  • Review reported police and security incidents and evaluate the need for investigations.
  • Communicate regularly with the Director of Police and Security Programs regarding incidents and events.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure effective delivery of the program.
  • Perform various types of crime analysis including administrative, intelligence, strategic, and tactical analysis.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and training.
  • Oversee the delegation of tasks to qualified security practitioners and ensure timely completion and accurate reporting.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for measuring program effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Conduct comprehensive reviews and analyses of KPIs to improve program performance.
  • Identify vulnerabilities and opportunities to enhance protection and reduce waste, fraud, or abuse.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Education, Psychology, Criminal Justice, Risk Management, Law Enforcement, or closely related fields required.
  • Master's degree preferred.
  • 5 years of relevant work experience, including at least 2 years in Healthcare, Corporate Security, or large city/county municipality with a bachelor's degree required.
  • PCI (Professional Certified Investigator) certification required within 12 months of hire.
  • WZCFI (WZ Certified Forensic Interviewer) certification required within 12 months of hire.
  • CLEA (Certified Law Enforcement Analyst) certification required upon hire.
