About the position

Chevo Consulting LLC is currently seeking a Program Manager with a TS clearance. This candidate will be the primary client point of contact with responsibility for all associated tasks for the contract of oversight. The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of the cybersecurity posture of the Federal Government and be experienced in managing large-scale contract support teams. Located in Washington, DC Metro area in an onsite-/telework hybrid environment. Candidates must reside in the Washington DC metro area.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the overall performance of the contract
  • Plan, organize and support the project/program to ensure all contractual obligations are fulfilled, quality standards are met, and associated expectations of performance are achieved
  • Support multiple concurrent project tasks across a fast-paced, operational organization
  • Provide expert direction and guidance to team members and staff
  • Develop schedules and formulate work plans
  • Review project funds and resources
  • Serve as a primary point of contact with DHS/Government COR/Task Monitor and/or customer personnel
  • Provide strategic advice, technical guidance and expertise to program and project staff
  • Provide detailed analysis, evaluation and recommendations for improvements, optimization development, and/or maintenance efforts for client-specific or mission critical challenges/issues
  • Consult with client to define need or problem
  • Supervise studies and leading surveys to collect and analyze data to provide advice and recommend solutions
  • Manage a large, matrixed, and remote workforce

Requirements

  • Active Top-Secret clearance (preferred CISA or DHS)
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 10+ years of experience including, but not limited to: Providing strategic advice, technical guidance and expertise to program and project staff; Providing detailed analysis, evaluation and recommendations for improvements, optimization development, and/or maintenance efforts for client-specific or mission critical challenges/issues; Consulting with client to define need or problem; Supervising studies and leading surveys to collect and analyze data to provide advice and recommend solutions
  • Demonstrating an ability to manage a large, matrixed, and remote workforce
  • Leading large matrixed teams of 100+ FTE
  • Demonstrated knowledge in the areas of identifying, analyzing, and responding to physical and cyber events and supporting the Government's activities in establishing, coordinating, and managing internal and external programs that support and enhance cybersecurity activities.

Nice-to-haves

  • Prior experience in a Federal Government Consulting role
  • Strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to present a polished, professional, and diplomatic image to clients
  • Strong analytical skills - assertive and inquisitive manner that allows the individual to take indirectly related and orally communicated information and transform it into actionable information
  • Experience at CISA or DHS Headquarters or Component
