Program Manager - Data Governance

About the position

The Program Manager - Data Governance at TEKsystems is responsible for overseeing data security and governance initiatives within Adobe's Data Governance team. This role requires strong project management skills, effective communication, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure data vulnerability is screened and managed effectively.

Responsibilities

• Manage data governance and security projects from planning through execution and delivery.
• Facilitate meetings and make decisions effectively to drive project progress.
• Develop and implement test strategies and coordinate testing efforts.
• Utilize Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, and Hybrid methodologies in project management.
• Oversee project release management and production deployments.
• Communicate project status and updates clearly to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.
• Prioritize and manage multiple concurrent assignments effectively.
• Adapt to changing priorities and work well under pressure.
• Maintain organized documentation and attention to detail.

Requirements

• Strong project management skills with a focus on planning, execution, and delivery.
• Experience in data security, data governance, data retention, or data risk management.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, and Hybrid methodologies.
• Familiarity with Workfront and Jira.
