About the position

Eaton's Corporate Finance Team is seeking a Digital Finance & Innovation Program Manager to oversee planning and delivery coordination for the Digital Finance & Innovation team. This role is pivotal in achieving strategic outcomes from data, technology, and innovation initiatives, while championing Agile development processes and fostering a culture of self-managing teams. The Program Manager will interface with key stakeholders across finance and IT, ensuring optimal delivery and alignment with the company's vision for the future of finance.

Responsibilities

  • Own overall planning and delivery coordination for the Digital Finance & Innovation team.
  • Champion Agile development processes and promote a culture of self-managing teams.
  • Lead the intake, prioritization, and release management processes.
  • Support the design for the 'finance of future' vision through management of Digital Finance programs.
  • Define the Digital Finance program governance structure and provide program leadership.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in finance and IT.
  • Drive the intake and prioritization processes for optimal delivery in an agile environment.
  • Coordinate priorities, schedule, budget, risks, and issue management for financial data and AI capabilities.
  • Prepare and manage overall program budget including capital and expense labor.
  • Develop communication strategies and drive change management plans with stakeholders.
  • Establish processes for managing risks and issues, and drive resolution of critical issues.
  • Leverage project management tools and coach project managers on best practices.
  • Define and measure operational KPIs to monitor team's progress.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum two years of manager of people experience.
  • Minimum ten years of project management and/or program management experience.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's degree or advanced degree.
  • PMP or Agile certification.
  • Accounting, business, and/or finance function experience.
  • 5+ years of experience working cross-functionally with tech and non-tech teams.
  • 5+ years leading and influencing technology portfolio, program, and/or product teams.
  • Experience translating data into quantifiable actions/deliverables.
  • Background in business analysis, design, development, data architecture, software testing or related technical field.
  • Experience with agile program management delivery and establishing governance frameworks.
