About the position

The Business Consortium Fund, Inc. (BCF) is seeking a dedicated professional to support underserved and diverse-owned businesses in accessing capital and maximizing their growth potential. This role involves delivering training sessions, developing training materials, and conducting data analysis to measure impact, all aimed at fostering an inclusive U.S. economy.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver pre-loan application and post-loan funding training sessions to diverse-owned businesses.
  • Develop training materials including e-learning lessons, help center articles, one-pagers, and slide decks using tools like PowerPoint and Canva.
  • Schedule and promote webinars and in-person events on BCF's website and social media platforms.
  • Assist in tracking impact metrics and conducting quantitative data analyses for impact measurement.
  • Collect feedback from clients through surveys and interviews.

Requirements

  • Expert-level proficiency in PowerPoint, Canva, Excel, and Zoom.
  • Over 5 years of experience in financial services at a CDFI, FinTech, credit union, or bank.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a client-facing training role with strong presentation skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a test-and-learn team environment with minimal direction.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in financial literacy training related to consumer and/or business lending.
  • Expert-level proficiency in graphic design and/or website management.
  • New York or Northeast location preferred.
