The Program Manager for DoD Critical Technologies Research at American Systems is responsible for leading a team of skilled professionals in research, engineering, and development efforts for defense organizations. Responsibilities

• Lead a team of driven, supportive, and highly skilled DoD research, engineering, and development professionals.
• Develop relationships with customers across the DoD R&E community.
• Find the right talent to support highly technical studies and analysis in support of the DoD's most pressing technology research areas.
• Create high-performance teams to support applied and emerging research and transition into the hands of the nation's warfighter community.
• Act as the single point of contact to manage all programmatic matters of task order and manage the day-to-day operation of the task order.
• Serve in a supervisory capacity in planning, developing, and executing major research, engineering, and development efforts for defense organizations.
• Demonstrate creativity, foresight, initiative, and mature judgment in anticipating and solving unprecedented problems.
• Drive continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in an Engineering field
• 15 years relevant experience in engineering, research and development effort for DoD organizations
• Project Management experience
• Must have a current and active TS/SCI
• Experience tracking task order efforts to rapidly identify and resolve potential and new problems
• Experience identifying and resolving administrative and contractual issues related to a support services contract.
