About the position

The Decarbonize DRCOG Program Manager will lead initiatives aimed at reducing climate pollution in the Denver metro area, focusing on low-income and disadvantaged communities. This role involves overseeing energy advising services, managing rebates and incentives, and ensuring effective program implementation to achieve significant environmental and community health outcomes by 2050.

Responsibilities

  • Shape the overarching Low-Income Disadvantaged Communities and Energy Advising and Rebates Program.
  • Manage personnel and financial aspects of the program.
  • Issue RFPs and select vendors for program implementation.
  • Guide program development to ensure launch by Q3 2025.
  • Coordinate with contractors and community members for effective program execution.

Requirements

  • Experience in program management, particularly in energy advising or environmental initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of community engagement and equity-driven approaches.
  • Ability to manage budgets and financial reporting effectively.
  • Experience in issuing RFPs and vendor selection processes.
