The Electric Regulatory Compliance department at PG&E Corporation is a vital part of the Electric Compliance organization, serving as the external-facing branch that engages with major operational regulators and functional business partners across Electric Operations and Engineering. This department is responsible for facilitating audits, managing regulatory compliance dialogues, establishing corrective actions, and identifying compliance best practices through the expertise of its subject matter experts. The regulatory agencies that this department interacts with include the California Office of Energy Infrastructure Safety (OEIS), the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (CAL FIRE), the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC), the California Independent System Operator (CAISO), the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC), and various municipalities concerned with electric transmission, distribution, and substation assets. In this role, the successful candidate will provide comprehensive program management support for a variety of issues and assignments, working independently with minimal guidance on complex matters. The candidate will serve as the 2027 General Rate Case (GRC) witness assistant or co-assistant to the Director of Electric Regulatory Compliance, focusing on the funding of programs related to regulatory compliance. Responsibilities include developing and managing consistent intake, governance, monitoring, and reporting tools for peer manager-led teams, facilitating special case regulatory responses, and managing reporting metrics for electric regulatory compliance. The candidate may also contribute to the development of best practices, controls, and procedures aimed at improving efficiencies and ensuring compliance with regulatory programs.
