About the position

The Program Manager, Expert position at PG&E focuses on managing the implementation of the Undergrounding Regulatory Strategy team’s initiatives aimed at reducing wildfire risk through the undergrounding of distribution lines. This role involves orchestrating regulatory filings, ensuring compliance, and managing multiple system-hardening proceedings to support a safer and more sustainable California.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the Undergrounding Regulatory team's tactical implementation plans for the 10 Year Electric Undergrounding Plan (EUP) to ensure timely completion of deliverables.
  • Develop and implement relevant policies and procedures for the EUP, including governance standards and web remediation requirements.
  • Confirm operationalization of regulatory compliance requirements with adequate business controls and supporting evidence.
  • Support lean delivery and visual management for tracking System Hardening commitments, including developing and reporting on program success.
  • Provide analysis of financial, strategic, or policy impacts of key regulatory proposals and decisions.
  • Prepare and deliver strategic briefing materials and recommendations to leadership and regulators.
  • Maintain knowledge of key program, operational, cost, and regulatory issues, and stay informed of industry trends.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business.
  • Eight (8) years of related experience or equivalent.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's Degree in a job-related discipline or equivalent experience.
  • PMI-Project Management Institute PMP-Project Management Professional certification.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary range from $122,000 to $194,000 based on experience and qualifications.
