About the position

The Program Manager for the Undergrounding Regulatory Strategy team is responsible for managing the implementation of the 10 Year Electric Undergrounding Plan (EUP) to enhance safety and reduce wildfire risks in California. This role involves orchestrating regulatory filings, ensuring compliance, and managing multiple system-hardening proceedings while maintaining strong relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the Undergrounding Regulatory team's tactical implementation plans (TIP) for the 10 Year Electric Undergrounding Plan (EUP).
  • Develop, implement, and coordinate relevant policies and procedures for the EUP.
  • Confirm regulatory compliance requirements are operationalized with sufficient business controls and supporting evidence.
  • Support lean delivery and visual management for System Hardening commitments tracking.
  • Provide summary and analysis of financial, strategic, or policy impacts of key regulatory proposals and decisions.
  • Prepare and deliver strategic briefing materials and recommendations to leadership and regulators.
  • Maintain knowledge of key program, operational, cost, and regulatory issues.
  • Identify and maintain strong working relationships with strategic programs and partners.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business.
  • Eight (8) years of related experience or equivalent.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's Degree in a job-related discipline or equivalent experience.
  • PMI-Project Management Institute PMP-Project Management Professional certification.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary range from $122,000 to $194,000 based on experience and qualifications.
