About the position

The position focuses on supporting the design, development, and implementation of TalentWorks initiatives aimed at enhancing Field Talent and Talent Acquisition and Growth priorities at Northwestern Mutual. The role involves leading large, integrated talent initiatives, developing effective communications, and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure successful adoption and engagement of talent programs.

Responsibilities

  • Support the design, development, and implementation of TalentWorks initiatives.
  • Lead the design and implementation of large, integrated talent initiatives.
  • Develop clear, effective, consistent, and persuasive communications and content.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver high impact programs and tools.
  • Measure and evaluate the methods used to deliver consistent messaging.
  • Manage the quality creation and delivery of home office and field-facing resources.
  • Lead training and manage governance of TalentWorks engagement and adoption strategies.
  • Identify inefficiencies and develop templates, tools, and best practices.

Requirements

  • B.S. /B.A. degree in business, marketing, communications, adult learning or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 5 years professional experience in designing and delivering learning content and adoption strategies.
  • Demonstrated ability to establish tracking and measurement systems.
  • Knowledgeable on leveraging a multi-channel strategy for communications and engagement.
  • Strong leadership and project management skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
