About the position

Zeno Power is seeking a highly motivated Program Manager for the Radioisotope Fuel Supply Chain to establish and manage a supply chain for radioisotope fuel sources. This role is crucial for the commercialization of Zeno's innovative radioisotope power system technology, requiring collaboration with various stakeholders to secure necessary resources and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Identify and secure supply chain pathways for radioisotope fuel sources.
• Engage with commercial and government stakeholders to develop and implement pathways for securing radioisotope fuel sources.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Project Management, and Regulatory teams to establish fuel, radiological facilities, and transportation requirements.
• Evaluate and implement strategies for radioisotope fuel development, acquisition, production, and separation.
• Manage and evaluate contracts with partners and subcontractors.
• Develop a holistic lifecycle approach to managing the radioisotope supply chain.
• Support regulatory efforts, including drafting or reviewing technical papers.
• Prepare technical briefings and papers for meetings and conferences.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in nuclear engineering or related technical field.
• 6+ years of experience in a relevant field, with adjustments for advanced degrees.
• Knowledge of nuclear fuel cycle and radioisotope processing preferred.
• Experience with radiological facilities and nuclear regulatory environments for radioisotopes preferred.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple competing objectives and resolve conflicts.
