About the position

The Program Manager for Government Services and Solutions at Viasat is responsible for leading the execution of the Government Senior Leader Special Air Mission program. This role involves managing customer contracts, collaborating with various teams, and ensuring high-quality delivery of satellite communications systems for government clients. The Program Manager will serve as a primary point of contact for key communications and will play a crucial role in business area growth and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Lead program execution across all related programs and projects.
• Manage customer contracts and ensure high-quality delivery of satellite communications systems.
• Work closely with Business Development to define system requirements.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to develop practical solutions.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for programmatic communications with customers.
• Provide best-of-class service and support throughout the program life-cycle.

Requirements

• 7+ years of proven experience as a Project Manager or Account Manager.
• Ability to work in high-pressure situations while maintaining professionalism.
• Proven experience leading and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Programmatic gate process experience.
• Aerospace engineering discipline with aircraft certification experience.
• Bachelor's Degree in a technical subject area or equivalent experience.
• Ability to achieve DoD Top Secret Clearance.
