About the position

The Program Manager for Health Equity at Piedmont Healthcare is responsible for developing, managing, and overseeing the operations of health equity strategies. This role involves operational program planning and management, ensuring successful implementation of health equity initiatives across the healthcare system. The Program Manager will collaborate with various stakeholders, including external partners such as payors, community-based organizations, and public health agencies, to enhance health equity efforts.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage health equity strategies and programs.
• Oversee operational planning and management of health equity initiatives.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders across Piedmont Healthcare to implement health equity strategies.
• Engage with external partners, including payors and community organizations, to support health equity efforts.
• Analyze data related to health equity and social determinants of health.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in nursing, public health, or a related healthcare field.
• Five years of experience in a healthcare setting or public health.
• Knowledge of social determinants of health.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience working in healthcare preferred.
• Experience with research and analysis of data preferred.
• Experience working with vulnerable or disenfranchised communities preferred.
• Experience in management of patient populations and/or value-based care preferred.
