About the position

The Program Manager for Homeless Services & Community Engagement at Saban Community Clinic is responsible for leading and managing the Homeless Services strategy, overseeing various programs aimed at supporting the unhoused population. This role involves collaboration with internal teams and external partners to ensure effective service delivery, program development, and continuous improvement, while also managing staff and departmental budgets.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the development and implementation of the SCC Homeless Services strategy.
  • Manage Homeless Services staff and collaborate with other departments.
  • Oversee operations and performance of all Homeless Services programs.
  • Serve as the main point of contact between Saban Community Clinic and partners.
  • Ensure transparent communication across the organization.
  • Track program metrics and ensure timely reporting for grants and contracts.
  • Explore and develop opportunities in alignment with SCC's Homeless Services strategy.
  • Develop project plans, timelines, and evaluate project outcomes.
  • Monitor program services to ensure goals are met and develop progress reports.
  • Manage internal processes such as staff training and workflow development.
  • Manage and monitor department budgets related to each program.
  • Collaborate with other departments for internal reporting and external marketing.
  • Identify community needs related to healthcare and social services.
  • Represent Saban Community Clinic in healthcare delivery and community outreach.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in health care management and/or public health; Master's strongly preferred.
  • 3-5 years of management experience with staff and budget accountability in healthcare or supportive services.
  • Knowledge of trauma-informed care and harm reduction methodologies.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills with strong public speaking abilities.
  • Knowledge of medical practice management systems.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Sensitivity to diverse cultures and lifestyles.
  • Covid-19 vaccination required as a condition of employment.
