About the position

The Program Manager at Pinkerton is responsible for overseeing operations for one of the company's largest global clients. This role involves managing emergency responses, concierge services, and access control for employees, visitors, and vendors. The position requires effective supervision of personnel, scheduling, training, and performance management, all while embodying Pinkerton's core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence. The role offers a hybrid work schedule, combining both in-office and remote work.

Responsibilities

  • Represent Pinkerton's core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence.
  • Provide management oversight for the selection, orientation, development, and retention of high caliber staff.
  • Plan and direct the work of staff as well as provide ongoing performance feedback and disciplinary actions as necessary.
  • Manage appropriate staffing levels in collaboration with management and ensure effective scheduling to meet client requirements while controlling labor costs.
  • Develop and implement training for subordinates as directed or required by the client, Pinkerton, or by regulatory or compliance requirements.
  • Oversee the completion, tracking, and documentation of all training as required by both the client and other legal compliance or regulatory requirements.
  • Coach and develop employees around processes and tools that impact customer experience.
  • Prepare and analyze business documents to understand underlying drivers of complex problems.
  • Identify key areas for improvement and encourage individuals and leadership teams to close gaps.
  • Build relationships and collaborate effectively with key stakeholders.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in criminal justice, law enforcement, or business.
  • At least four years of program management experience, preferably in a security-related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in security management or related fields.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess business documents.
  • Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams.
