About the position

The Program Manager I for Homeless Services at Catholic Community Services is responsible for overseeing the management and operations of the Homeless Services Case Management Team. This role involves supervising staff, ensuring compliance with program policies, and providing support to unhoused participants in finding and maintaining stable housing. The position requires collaboration with community organizations and internal teams to enhance service delivery and manage public funding effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the Homeless Services Case Management Team of up to 12 staff across multiple site locations.
  • Ensure program policies and procedures are implemented in accordance with program contracts.
  • Supervise hiring, training, evaluations, and oversight of case managers.
  • Manage data entry on clients into the Homeless Management Information System (HMIS).
  • Provide trauma-informed supervision and staff management of 2 Supervisors and 8-10 case managers.
  • Support team in providing high-level services to clients experiencing various barriers.
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to support participants.
  • Build additional partnerships to enhance services for participants.
  • Act as on-site supervisor at the Phoenix Center and RCC, providing general program support to staff.
  • Respond to participant grievances and concerns.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Social Work or a related field.
  • At least two years of experience in direct provision of social services, preferably with people experiencing housing instability.
  • At least one year of supervisory experience in a social service setting.
  • Demonstrated ability to implement policies and procedures with attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with trauma-informed care and harm reduction principles.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Good office computer skills, with the ability to maintain complex client records.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in social service administration.
  • Knowledge and experience in organizational effectiveness and operations management.
  • Fluency in a second language spoken by a substantial number of King County households.
