About the position

BAE Systems is seeking a Program Manager-I for the Test and Support Solutions product area within C4ISR Systems. This role involves managing all aspects of the Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) Depot Repairs Programs, ensuring adherence to cost, schedule, and technical performance requirements. The Program Manager will collaborate across functional departments and with suppliers to coordinate repair proposals and completion, while also developing and presenting program status to both government and commercial customers.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of the Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) Depot Repairs Programs to meet cost, schedule, and technical performance requirements.
  • Work across functional departments to meet program objectives.
  • Coordinate with suppliers for proposals and completion of repairs of tester and shop replaceable units (TRU/SRU).
  • Develop and present program status at Program Management and Technical reviews with government and commercial customers.
  • Develop and maintain program documentation including the Program Plan of Execution, depot repair metrics, and Risk and Opportunity Management Plan.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or a Technical discipline and 2 years equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrated program management skills and understanding of logistics, supply chain, assembly, and test.
  • Experience establishing and leading Integrated Product Teams (IPT).
  • Ability to develop program/project plans specifying goals, staffing, scheduling, identification of risks, contingency plans, and allocation of available resources.
  • Ability to analyze and communicate expectations regarding repair capacity and backlog for multiple products.
  • Ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing at all levels within the company and customer community.
  • Ability to initiate, prioritize, and coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Experience with program scope and cost estimating including estimate to complete/estimate at completion (ETC/EAC) processes.
  • Ability to operate independently and proactively.

Nice-to-haves

  • A certification in Project Management from an industry-recognized organization such as the Project Management Institute (PMI), Project Management Professional (PMP), and/or Program Management Professional (PgMP).
  • Knowledge and prior experience in planning, scheduling, and implementation of depot repair programs.
