About the position

The Program Manager II-Laboratory Research at Cleveland Clinic is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing grant-funded research study protocols and daily research activities in laboratory and clinical settings. This role involves collaboration with the Principal Investigator and various stakeholders to ensure compliance and successful project execution.

Responsibilities

• Develops, implements, and manages grant funded research study protocols and day to day research activities in medium sized or moderately complex laboratory and clinical settings.
• Analyzes research study findings and shares and interprets data with Principal Investigator.
• Serves as a liaison between Principal Investigator, patient, clinical team, and other members of the research team.
• Manages multiple priorities and projects with competing deadlines.
• Allocates time to meet completion requirements.
• Serves as a coach and mentor for other members of the research team.
• Reviews and monitors study protocols to ensure compliance and completion of study related procedures.
• Assists in grant writing including development of budget and human components.
• Extracts clinical data and prepares for analysis.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in science, healthcare administration, public health, or related field.
• Three years of experience in project management, data analysis and systems training in a research laboratory setting.
• Knowledge of research policies and procedures, and ability to develop research plans and/or protocols.
• Knowledge and expertise in federal, state, local and institutional research guidelines and the ability to implement these requirements in the research laboratory.
• OR Master's degree and two years of experience as described above.
