About the position

As a Program Manager II in Memory Commodity Operations at Google, you will lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects focused on managing the supply execution and delivery of commodities for AI/ML infrastructure. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and ensure effective communication across teams. You will be responsible for optimizing cost, delivery, and quality objectives while supporting Google's growing cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Manage the supply execution and delivery of commodities for AI/ML infrastructure.
• Work with internal customers, planning, procurement, finance, and operations partners to publish supplier forecasts and manage supply operations.
• Aggregate worldwide forecasts for high-bandwidth memory (HBM) parts.
• Develop and execute quality supply execution plans that efficiently utilize inventory assets.
• Lead a team in the development of fulfillment throughout the entire product lifecycle.
• Act as a focal point for managing resource constraints, technology transitions, inventory, and fulfillment objectives.
• Monitor TPU production plans and yields for optimal HBM material schedule and inventory management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive best solutions and manage various processes with suppliers/foundry partners.
• Advocate for process improvements and tool development in support of HBM supply execution and management reporting requirements.
• Participate in Design, Proof-of-Concept, and User Acceptance Testing for various operations systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of experience in program or project management.
• Experience with memory commodity operations and materials management.

Nice-to-haves

• Master's in MBA or MS degree in Supply Chain, or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
• Experience in Analytics / SQL / BigQuery.
• Experience with commodity management or supply chain management in the high-tech industry, and knowledge of the supply base for high-bandwidth memory (HBM), dynamic random access memory (DRAM).
• Knowledge of supply execution processes for HBM to support SoC fabrication.
