About the position

The Program Manager III at Applied Research Solutions will be responsible for overseeing systems acquisition and program management at Hanscom AFB. This role requires extensive knowledge of acquisition principles and practices, as well as the ability to analyze and measure program effectiveness. The Program Manager will support various acquisition reports and program management reviews, ensuring that projects meet their cost, schedule, and performance objectives while effectively communicating with senior management.

Responsibilities

• Possess knowledge of qualitative and quantitative techniques for gathering, analyzing, and measuring the effectiveness of acquisition programs.
• Assess programs against schedule and cost baselines, recommending viable solutions to problems.
• Communicate effectively in writing and orally, providing quality acquisition and program documentation.
• Plan, research, analyze, and assess system acquisition for weapons systems and associated equipment.
• Support and develop acquisition reports, including statutory and regulatory reports.
• Support program management reviews and senior-level meetings.
• Coordinate key presentations and manage high-level tasks.
• Lead preparatory work for key team meetings.

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience as a Program Manager, with at least 5-7 years in a DoD environment.
• BA/BS degree and 15 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline, with 5 years in the DoD, or 20 years of directly related experience with proper certifications, with 8 years in the DoD.
• Active Top Secret Security Clearance.
• Bachelor's and/or Master's Degree; PMP Certificate preferred.
• Must be a US citizen.
