About the position

As a Program Manager III at Google, you will lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects, particularly focusing on Project Starline, which aims to enhance communication through innovative technology. Your role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to plan project requirements, manage schedules, identify risks, and ensure effective communication across teams. This position emphasizes building a diverse and inclusive environment while delivering impactful solutions that connect people across distances.

Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver optimized program communication plans including executive and key partner communications.
  • Determine phasing and metrics associated with program lifecycle that effectively address continuous improvement including Resource Stewardship.
  • Determine and collect data required to govern programs and effectively drive stakeholder decision-making.
  • Anticipate change management requirements that are required by program stakeholders.
  • Build trusted relationships with program stakeholders, including managing expectations of senior cross-functional leads.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in program or project management.

Nice-to-haves
