About the position

As a Program Manager III at Google, you will lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects within the Supply and Demand Planning team. This role involves collaborating with stakeholders to define project requirements, manage schedules, identify risks, and communicate effectively with cross-functional partners. You will be responsible for developing supply and demand models, driving process improvements, and supporting the machine learning infrastructure at global data centers.

Responsibilities

• Develop short and long term supply and demand models that seek to minimize total costs and inventories while maintaining/improving service levels.
• Establish and utilize statistical models, processes, and software tools in evaluating supply chain's ability to meet customer demand.
• Lead demand and supply planning meetings with cross-functional teams, reviewing supply, demand risks, mitigation options, service level goals.
• Prepare, report, and present Supply and Demand recommendations with models and logic to leadership, drive timely decisions, and ensure clear and concise communication to all stakeholders in the supply chain.
• Drive product success by keeping accountable for metrics such as forecast accuracy, on-time delivery, inventory, excess and obsolescence, and material spend.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience in program or project management.
• Experience with Supply Chain Planning.

Nice-to-haves

• Bachelor's degree or MBA in Industrial Engineering, related fields, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
• Knowledge of the tools and elements of project management.
