About the position

As a Program Manager III in Supply Chain Transformation at Google, you will lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects aimed at enhancing fleet efficiency and resource management. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to plan project requirements, manage schedules, identify risks, and ensure clear communication across teams. You will be instrumental in translating new supply chain capabilities into cost reduction initiatives and user-facing feature improvements, while also supporting operations and analytics related to computing resource allocation and capacity planning.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of projects related to fleet efficiency, resource stranding, reverse supply chain, and other fleet priorities.
• Translate new supply chain capabilities into cost reduction initiatives or user-facing feature improvements.
• Work with software engineering partners to manage product roadmaps and priorities.
• Support operations and analytic projects related to the allocation and budgeting of internal computing resources.
• Support subsequent operations and analytic projects related to supply chain management and capacity planning needs for computing resources.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience in program or project management.
• Experience in supply chain transformation.

Nice-to-haves

• BA/BS degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Research, Operations Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
• Experience with scripting or business tool development using SQL or Python.
• Experience with Google software services or knowledge of compute/storage resource management.
• Excellent influencing skills, with the ability to deliver solutions in a changing environment.
