About the position

The Program Manager, Information Security and Risk Management at Riskified is responsible for supporting sales teams by ensuring security compliance during customer interactions and leading security-related training initiatives. This role involves direct engagement with potential customers to address security concerns and integrate security practices into sales processes, while also managing comprehensive security onboarding and awareness training for both internal employees and customers.

Responsibilities

  • Provide security expertise to sales teams, ensuring compliance with security policies during all customer engagements.
  • Attend meetings with potential customers, presenting the company's security posture and addressing specific security concerns.
  • Develop and deliver security onboarding training programs for new employees, ensuring understanding of security policies and best practices.
  • Lead regular security awareness training sessions for internal staff and customers, focusing on data protection and phishing prevention.
  • Collaborate with sales, legal, and compliance teams to review contracts, ensuring appropriate security clauses are included.
  • Conduct thorough reviews of third-party vendors' security practices, evaluating security questionnaires and conducting risk assessments.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in information security, with a focus on security sales support.
  • Strong knowledge of security policies, procedures, and best practices, especially in a sales context.
  • Experience in developing and conducting security onboarding and awareness training programs.
  • Ability to engage with potential customers and effectively communicate security concepts during meetings.
  • Expertise in reviewing and assessing vendor security practices, including evaluating security questionnaires.

Nice-to-haves

  • Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or Security+.
  • Experience in the technology or SaaS industry.
  • Familiarity with sales tools and platforms (e.g., Loopio, Salesforce).
