About the position

The Program Manager Information Specialist at the College of Law is responsible for implementing and managing the On-Campus Interview (OCI) Program, overseeing employer recruiting processes, and ensuring compliance with employment outcomes data collection and reporting. This role involves interaction with employers and students, data management, and resource development to enhance the career services offered to law students.

Responsibilities

  • Implement the On-Campus Interview (OCI) Program and manage employer recruiting processes.
  • Ensure compliance with employment outcomes data collection and reporting, including submissions to the ABA.
  • Develop and administer surveys, compile data on employer participation and graduate outcomes.
  • Assist with resource development, presentations, and JD Advisor coordination.
  • Implement fall and spring OCI programs, including registration, applications, and scheduling.
  • Interact with employers and students on recruitment activities and processes.
  • Assist the Director of Employer Recruitment with invitations and follow-up communication.
  • Oversee the collection and distribution of application documents to employers and organize interview scheduling.
  • Create surveys for students and employers on the OCI process and compile survey results to prepare reports.
  • Assist with updating resources, including the Career Search Handbook and CSO-related website and Canvas updates.
  • Track graduate employment outcomes and prepare reports for NALP, ABA, and U.S. News.
  • Oversee the collection and review of student surveys and documentation to ensure compliance with reporting requirements.
  • Create surveys, prepare and submit reports, and update procedures based on changes in reporting requirements.
  • Develop expertise in the employer/student database used by the CSO and troubleshoot issues.
  • Evaluate and make recommendations on current and alternative vendors of employer/student information databases.
  • Assist the Engagement Manager with coordinating JD Advisor engagement with students.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and four years of experience in a legal, career services, academic advising, educational or data management field; or a high school diploma or equivalent and eight years of experience.
  • A combination of post high school education and experience equal to eight years.

Nice-to-haves

  • Flexibility to travel and/or attend events outside regular working hours.
  • A J.D. degree is a plus.
