About the position

The Bureau of Reclamation is seeking a Program Manager for the Infrastructure department to support the implementation of the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (BIL). This position involves researching, synthesizing, and reporting on infrastructure program elements to ensure accountability and transparency in fund usage. The role provides critical support to senior leadership on sensitive issues and requires collaboration with various stakeholders to formulate policy and manage program execution.

Responsibilities

  • Research, synthesize, implement, document, and report on infrastructure program elements agency-wide.
  • Provide critical support to senior leadership on sensitive issues related to the implementation of the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (BIL).
  • Ensure accountability and transparency for funds spent on projects and programs defined in the BIL.
  • Advise on high-visibility agency-wide activities and programs, formulating policy and managing program execution.
  • Develop and recommend policy affecting agency-wide and CGB Region activities.

Requirements

  • Current GS-14 employees may apply for detail; GS-13 employees may apply for temporary promotion.
  • Specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-13 level in federal service, demonstrating expertise in infrastructure program implementation.
  • Experience in planning, programming, and budgeting regulations, guidelines, and processes related to infrastructure projects.
