The position may also involve managing the annual budget, negotiating service contracts, and reporting on project progress to upper management. The Program Manager will work closely with internal departments to explore strategic and collaborative opportunities and may assist in preparing progress reports and grant proposals for both private foundations and governmental agencies. Additionally, the Program Manager will interact with representatives from state, federal, and private agencies regarding proposals and funded projects, and may create and edit various communication materials for the department, including printed materials and web content. Human Resources activities related to direct reports, such as recruitment, training, and performance evaluations, may also fall under the Program Manager's responsibilities.
