The IT Asset Program Manager is responsible for overseeing the management of the bank's technology hardware and software asset portfolios across the enterprise. Utilizing ServiceNow HAM/SAM Pro, the Program Manager will capture, monitor, record, analyze, and optimize hardware and software-related assets. This role is pivotal in enhancing IT Asset Management through robust process improvements, applying Software/Hardware Asset Management principles, and leveraging project management skills to maximize both operational and financial efficiency. A critical aspect of this position involves fostering and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders to ensure program compliance with regulations such as FDIC, GLBA, and SOX. The Program Manager will be tasked with planning and remediating non-compliant issues related to end-of-life (EOL) assets and software licensing. The ideal candidate must possess experience working in a large bank environment regulated by the FDIC and/or OCC, ensuring that all IT asset management practices align with the institution's strategic goals and regulatory requirements. In this role, the Program Manager will develop and enforce asset lifecycle management policies and procedures, provide strategic guidance on IT Asset Management (ITAM) practices to senior executives, and establish strong partnerships with IT teams to maintain data integrity and completeness of the IT asset inventory. Staying updated on regulatory requirements within the financial industry is essential, as is ensuring compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws. The Program Manager will also generate regular reports for senior leadership, offering insights into IT asset performance, compliance status, and risk mitigation strategies, while championing continuous improvement initiatives to enhance processes.
