The IT Asset Program Manager is responsible for overseeing the bank's technology hardware and software asset portfolios on an enterprise-wide scale. Utilizing ServiceNow's Hardware Asset Management (HAM) and Software Asset Management (SAM) Pro modules, the Program Manager will capture, monitor, record, analyze, and optimize all hardware and software-related assets. This role is pivotal in enhancing IT Asset Management through robust process improvements, applying Software/Hardware Asset Management principles, and leveraging project management skills to maximize both operational and financial efficiency. A critical aspect of this position involves fostering and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders to ensure compliance with various regulations, including FDIC, GLBA, and SOX. The Program Manager will be responsible for planning and remediating any non-compliance issues related to End-of-Life (EOL) assets and software licensing. The role requires a deep understanding of the regulatory landscape governing large banks, particularly those regulated by the FDIC and/or OCC. In addition to managing asset lifecycles, the Program Manager will provide strategic guidance and thought leadership on IT Asset Management practices to senior executives and stakeholders. This includes establishing strong partnerships with IT teams to ensure the integrity and completeness of the IT asset inventory, staying updated on regulatory requirements, and ensuring that all ITAM practices adhere to compliance standards. Regular reporting to senior leadership will be essential, offering insights into IT asset performance, compliance status, risks, Key Risk Indicators (KRIs), and mitigation strategies. The Program Manager will also champion continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities for process enhancements and guiding the team in implementing necessary changes.
