About the position

The Program Manager for Fellowships at Georgia Tech is responsible for overseeing approximately $10 million in fellowship funding, providing leadership in the administration of graduate student fellowships, and ensuring effective communication and coordination among various stakeholders. This role requires strong project management skills, the ability to resolve conflicts, and the implementation of best practices in program management.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the creation of program definitions, budgets, work breakdowns, and communication plans.
  • Coordinate and assist in the resolution of conflicts within and between program teams.
  • Research and recommend program management policies and practices.
  • Implement best practices and process improvements for managing program activities and budgets.
  • Facilitate feasibility studies for programs and make recommendations on selections.
  • Interact regularly with program sponsors and stakeholders to implement requirements across programs.
  • Conduct program management activities to track milestones and deliver commitments.
  • Research and recommend tools for automated program management.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Three or more years of job-related experience.

Nice-to-haves

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
  • Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) Certification
  • Master's Degree
  • At least 5+ years of job-related experience.
