About the position
This position is in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS) and is located at the HQDA G-2 Stable Shadows Program in Fort Liberty, North Carolina. The role involves serving as the Command Language Program Manager (CLPM) for the 525th Military Intelligence Brigade, responsible for integrating language training into collective training and readiness programs, providing oversight and policy interpretation, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the Command Language Program Manager (CLPM) for the 525th Military Intelligence Brigade.
- Integrate language training into collective training and readiness programs.
- Provide technical oversight and policy interpretation for subordinate CLPMs at all Major Subordinate Commands (MSC).
- Inspect subordinate units to ensure compliance with AR 11-6 and AR 11-2.
- Interpret, apply, and adapt national, departmental, and military service policy regulations and guidance.
- Apply a variety of language training and budget management principles and policies.
- Develop and manage innovative strategies and plans in response to language training requirements.
- Manage the Language Program budget for 292 language dependent Soldiers assigned to four FORSCOM installations.
- Conduct biennial inspections of brigade subordinate units command language programs.
Requirements
- One year of specialized experience in implementing foreign language program policies and procedures for an organization.
- Experience in providing foreign language program training to an organization.
