About the position

Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Newark is seeking a Full Time LCSW Program Manager for the West Side Children's Counseling program located in Jersey City, NJ. This program provides essential mental health counseling services to children, adolescents, and young adults, along with family therapy. The services offered include various modalities of counseling, psychiatric evaluations, case management, and medication management, all tailored specifically for the needs of children and adolescents in Hudson County. As the Program Manager, you will be responsible for providing both managerial and clinical supervision for the children's outpatient counseling center, ensuring compliance with New Jersey outpatient licensing regulations. You will oversee the program's operations, ensuring that it meets its contractual obligations while monitoring staff productivity and managing the flow of referrals into the program. This role also involves completing required reports for the state and maintaining internal statistics, as well as managing the program budget effectively. In addition to administrative duties, you will provide clinical supervision to staff, focusing on their ongoing growth and development. You will recommend and guide the use of clinical best practices within the program, manage day-to-day operations, and maintain data integrity. Your responsibilities will also include hiring and supervising staff, negotiating relationships with other entities, and problem-solving to ensure the program runs smoothly. You will oversee clinical service delivery, maintain accountability for professional standards, develop and implement policies and procedures, and facilitate weekly clinical team meetings. Collaboration is key in this role; you will work closely with the program psychiatrist on coordination of care issues and with other managers in the children and family service division to maintain strong partnerships. Additionally, you will interface with the state CSOC system as needed and represent the program at community meetings in Hudson County.
