About the position

The Program Manager-Leap Participant Oversight Manager at Chi-Chack is responsible for overseeing the LEAP program, which develops language capabilities among USAF Airmen. This role involves managing participant selection, course scheduling, and ensuring compliance with language training requirements. The manager will also provide logistical support for language training events and maintain communication with participants and stakeholders to facilitate successful program execution.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Client in developing language capability throughout the force to meet DoD and Air Force requirements.
• Prepare and execute the selection of qualified participants for the LEAP program.
• Oversee and govern language program participants in collaboration with the Air Force Culture and Language Center (AFCLC).
• Schedule participants and track course completion.
• Monitor language test scores and advise Airmen on strategies to meet program expectations.
• Review and recommend the use of language resources and practices.
• Implement new technologies to improve process effectiveness.
• Provide scheduling and logistical support for language training events.
• Draft and coordinate the annual board schedule and application requirements for the LEAP program.
• Process and prescreen applications against established requirements.
• Facilitate board preparation and logistics for the selection process.
• Update and disseminate onboarding and course guidance for LEAP scholars.
• Track and enforce course attendance and completion using LEaDeR.
• Coordinate training requirements with language program vendors.
• Develop and maintain program handbooks and materials for immersion programs.
• Liaise with language vendors and training partners regarding travel and immersion details.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
• 2 years of experience managing a complex language training program.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 2019 (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
