About the position

The Program Manager, Learning & Development at HealthEdge Software Inc. is responsible for leading the internal HRP consulting training initiatives to enhance operational effectiveness within the HRP consulting services division. This role focuses on the continual optimization of training programs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and industry standards, while fostering a culture of continuous learning and development. The manager will utilize Generative AI to streamline the development of training materials and optimize business workflows.

Responsibilities

  • Direct the overall operations of the consulting training and development program, including program planning and execution.
  • Provide strategic guidance and direction to team leadership, ensuring the successful design and execution of training initiatives.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive training strategies, leveraging industry best practices and emerging trends.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure training efforts support business objectives and meet diverse audience needs.
  • Evaluate program effectiveness using metrics and feedback mechanisms, making data-driven recommendations for improvement.
  • Stay updated on developments in training and development, incorporating new tools and methodologies into programs.
  • Represent the training and development function at meetings and events, serving as a subject matter expert.
  • Act as a liaison with the Education Services team to identify gaps in training content.
  • Utilize knowledge of HealthRules Payer and HRP GPS consulting strategies to ensure training programs meet organizational needs.
  • Design, deliver, and implement online and consulting training programs, including virtual sessions and blended learning solutions.
  • Utilize Generative AI to create tailored training modules and compile insights into comprehensive training materials.
  • Identify training and development needs of internal consulting staff and assist in creating professional development pathways.
  • Support the development and operationalizing of departmental processes and initiatives.
  • Recommend changes to improve and streamline processes based on analytical findings.

Requirements

  • Advanced degree in Education, Business Administration, or related fields.
  • 5-8 years of experience in training and development, with a proven track record in designing and delivering effective training programs.
  • Experience creating and delivering training programs for healthcare software implementation teams is a plus.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of generative AI tools that support training and content needs.
  • Ability to influence others in a matrixed environment.
  • Flexible in adapting to changing priorities.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work well under pressure.
  • Functional knowledge of HealthRules Payer and consulting practices.
  • Experience in LMS administration, including design and maintenance of online training modules.
  • Strong leadership, strategic planning, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to think critically, solve problems, and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
